YSRCP, TDP Corporators fight in Rajahmundry Corporation meeting

Rajahmundry, March 4, 2015: Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation meeting hall projected the scene of a war zone on Wednesday as TDP and YSRCP members fought and thrashed each other and indulged in fisticuffs over petty issues during the meeting. Corporators of both parties fought over allotment of seats for the ruling and opposition party members in the meeting hall. In a free for all situation, even TDP MLA Buchaiah Choudary and YSRCP MLC Aadireddy Appa Rao pushed each other in a frenzy bringing the scheduled meeting to a grinding halt. During the melee, shouts and abusive words were heard for a short while. At last, police entered the scene and restored peace. But the meeting has not yet resumed.
