MRPS activists arrested at Karimnagar ahead of Chandrababu visit
Karimnagar, March 3, 2015: Just ahead of the AP Chief Minister and Telugu Desam President Chandrababu Naidu's arrival here today, Police have arrested hundreds of MRPS activists who are on war path protesting against his failure to implement SC categorisation. On the other hand, Karimnagar district TDP leaders and activists have decided to extend a grand welcome to Chandrababu who is arriving in the town for the first time after creation of Telangana state. Meanwhile, MRPS activists have warned of massive protests against Chandrababu Naidu. They have set on fire TDP flexies at Maneru Dam early in the morning. Police have arrested some of them.
