Ground breaking for Capital city in May: Min Narayana

Vijayawada, March 1, 2015: AP Municipal Minister P.Narayana said here today that the Government has far pooled over 31,000 acres for the construction of the capital city. "We will lay the foundation stone for the new capital city in May and complete the first phase of the Capital by June 2018," he told reporters. Nowhere in the country has such an extent of land been acquired so far by any government, Narayana said, adding that farmers have cooperated with the government in the task. "I thank all the farmers who have cooperated with the Government in the land pooling," he said.
