Hyderabad, Feb 28: The two Telugu states had high hopes on the Union budget present by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday in the parliament.

Telangana
IIT-Hyderabad gets Rs.55 crore, Tribal University gets Rs.2 crore, Qutb Shahi tombs at Hyderabad to be under the new tourism scheme.
Andhra Pradesh
IIM for Andhra Pradesh, special economic assistance, Rs 45 crore for IIIT, IISCER gets Rs 40 crore, NIT and IIM to get Rs 40 crores respectively, Polavaram project gets Rs 100 crore, Rs 5.63 crore for Vijayawada Metro, Visakha Metro too gets Rs 5.63 crore, AP central university gets Rs 1 crore.
