Jaitley undergoes surgery

New Delhi, Sep 2 : Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Tuesday underwent a successful laparoscopic procedure at a hospital here. "Arun Jaitley underwent a planned elective laparoscopic procedure for diabetes management under Pradeep K. Chowbey at the Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket, today (Tuesday)," a statement from the hospital said. "The procedure has been performed successfully," it added. Jaitley was admitted to the hospital Monday evening.
