KCR orders massive stone Hanuma statue on Yadagirigutta

Hyderabad, Feb 26, 2015:Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao disclosed that an allocation of Rs. 100 Cr would be made in the budget for the development of the Yadagirigutta temple. KCR visited Yadagirigutta temple on Wednesday and held a review meeting over the development proposals of the temple town. The Chief Minster had directed the officials to erect a massive stone statue of Lord Hanuma on the hillock and suggested that the reconstruction of the Alaya Gopuram and the temple should be of immense height so that they could be seen from a long distance. To make the Yadagirigutta Narasimha Swamy temple as popular as the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, KCR directed the authorities to lay four-lane road to the temple town from Rayagiri. He asked officials to lay another road to the temple so that it would have two roads like in Tirumala as per the Agama Sastra rules.
