KCR releases Rs. 5.59 Cr to redeem vows made to Gods, Goddesses

Hyderabad, Feb 24, 2015: To redeem the vows made by TRS President KCR to Gods and Goddesses during the Telangana agitation for achieving separate state, the Telangana Government on Tuesday released a fund of Rs.5.59 Cr. Out of this, Rs. 5 Cr would be spent for making special ornaments to Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala. The rest of the fund would be spent on making golden nose rings of 15 grams each to Goddess Padmavati Devi of Tiruchanur, Goddess Kanakadurga of Vijayawada, a golden crown for Goddess Bhadrakali and golden mustaches for Lord Veerabhadra Swamy of Warangal. After the jewelry is made as per Telangana government orders. Chief Minister KCR is likely to visit Tirumala to personally present the ornaments and seek the blessing of Lord Venkateswara.
