Ex-MP reiterates Min Jagadeesh Reddy has taken kickbacks

Hyderabad, Feb 23, 2015: Former Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar and Congress MLA Sampat Kumar on Monday reiterated that Education Minister Jagadeesh Reddy had taken kickbacks from colleges on fee reimbursement payments. Speaking to reporters at CLP office here, Prabhakar said he would not take back his charge against Jagadeesh Reddy that he was involved in bribes. "We will not be cowed down by legal notices. If the Government orders probe, we will prove our charges of kickbacks with all evidences," he said, adding Jagadeesh Reddy should quit to felicitate impartial probe. Chief Minister KCR has dismissed Rajaiah from the Cabinet on charges of corruption, he said and asked. "Why was he silent on Jagadeesh Reddy? What about Jagadeesh Reddy's 5 per cent commission on fee reimbursements?"
