YSRCP MLA's fast-unto-death reaches second day

Kavali, Feb 20, 2015: The fast unto death undertaken by the Kavali YSRCP MLA Ramreddy Pratapkumar Reddy seeking release of irrigation water to the area has reached second day today. Doctors, who examined him this evening, have said his sugar levels have come down drastically and asked him to take liquids at least but Pratapkumar Reddy has refused to relent and said he will continue with his Deeksha. As the MLA is reluctant to withdraw his fast, police personnel in good number have descended on the fasting camp giving indications that the government is determined to break his fast. He may be forcibly evicted from the camp and shifted to hospital in the dead of the night.
