Janmabhoomi Express Back in Service: Relief for Telugu State Travelers

The Railway Department has brought good news for travelers in the Telugu states by reinstating the Visakhapatnam-Lingampalli Janmabhoomi Express. Modernization works in the Vijayawada Division had led the South Central Railway to temporarily cancel several trains.

Due to modernization works in the Nidadavolu-Kadiyam section, the Janmabhoomi, Simhadri, and Ratnachal Express trains were canceled from June 23 to August 11. However, this decision faced significant dissatisfaction from passengers.

In response to widespread passenger discontent, the Railway Department has revised its decision. The Janmabhoomi Express will resume normal operations from the 25th of this month. Additionally, the South Central Railway announced the reinstatement of the Vijayawada-Kakinada Port and Chengalpattu-Kakinada Port trains.
