Ghattamaneni Adiseshagiri Rao Reveals Reasons for Leaving YSRCP

Superstar Krishna's brother, producer, and politician Ghattamaneni Adiseshagiri Rao made several interesting comments about his political journey in a recent interview with a YouTube channel. He mentioned that after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, 90% of the Congress vote bank and leaders shifted towards YSRCP, and he followed suit during that time. He stated that he had to leave YSRCP before the 2019 elections due to minor differences with Jagan regarding party affairs.

He expressed that he joined TDP because he disagreed with the way Jagan was running the party. However, he said that while he was in YSRCP, he was actively involved in several aspects, from the padayatra (foot march) to the party's formation. He emphasized that a dictatorial attitude is not suitable for managing a political party. He criticized Jagan for not caring about the party cadre during his five-year administration, stating that neglecting the cadre is not good for any party.

Adiseshagiri Rao mentioned that the construction of Jagan's Tadepalli party camp office and residence was overseen by his son. Initially, the project started for villas, but he suggested that it would be beneficial to have a party office there. However, he noted that Jagan did not visit during the plot allocation or construction phase, only attending the housewarming ceremony. He revealed that they purchased the site and undertook the construction in Jagan's name, and they were given the contract for this project.
