HC refuses to interfere in TS decision to shift Chest Hospital

Hyderabad, Feb 16, 2015: The High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad has refused to meddle with the decision of the Telangana Government to shift the Erragadda Chest Hospital to Anantagri near Vikarabad in RR district. Responding to two PIL petitions challenging the Government's decision, the High court said it can't interfere in such decisions." We can't fault such a decision as it is not illegal.You can meet the Government and forward your suggestions and objections," the apex court of the state told the petitioners. One of the petitioners was BJP leader Nagam Janardan Reddy who has argued that the decision to shift the hospital from its present location is tantamount to violation of several Acts. But the High Court said it didn't find any violations and dismissed the petitions.
