Chandrababu Naidu to Take Charge as AP CM Tomorrow Evening

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who was sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh today, will be visiting Tirumala with his family this evening. Tomorrow morning, he will offer prayers at the Tirumala temple.

Chief Minister Chandrababu will return to Amaravati by noon tomorrow and will head to the Secretariat in the evening. He will assume his duties as Chief Minister in his chamber on the first block of the Secretariat at 4:41 PM tomorrow (June 13).

After taking office, Chief Minister Chandrababu will sign several key promises made during the elections. His first signature will be on the Mega DSC as promised during the election campaign.

His second signature will be to repeal the Land Titling Act introduced by the previous YSRCP government. The third signature will be to increase the social pension to Rs. 4000. He will also sign on files related to initiating the Skill Census process and establishing Anna Canteens.

Following his oath-taking ceremony today, Chandrababu met with the new state cabinet members at his residence in Undavalli. He directed them on governance and other related matters.
