YSRCP Approaches High Court Regarding Postal Ballot Regulation

It is known that AP Election Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena has sent guidelines from the Central Election Commission to all district election officers, stating that postal ballots should not be rejected if they lack the Returning Officer's seal but have a signature.

However, the ruling YSRCP opposes this regulation. The YSRCP has approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court regarding the postal ballot regulation.

The YSRCP filed a lunch motion petition arguing that the memo issued by CEO Mukesh Kumar Meena, which directs not to reject votes without the RO's seal on the ballot, is inappropriate. The High Court has agreed to hear this petition urgently.
