Former JD Lakshminarayana Criticizes AP's Land Titling Act at Lawyers' Meet

Anakapalli: In recent developments in Andhra Pradesh, the Land Titling Act has become a topic of intense debate. VV Lakshminarayana, former Joint Director of the CBI and president of the Jai Bharat National Party, has openly criticized the act. He spoke on this matter during a meeting with lawyers in Anakapalli today.

During the meeting, Lakshminarayana expressed his concern, stating that government laws should not instill fear and panic among the public. He argued that the Land Titling Act appears to be doing just that, potentially leading to increased land-related issues if implemented. Lakshminarayana emphasized the potential for this act to exacerbate land disputes significantly.

He also noted the ongoing protest by lawyers against this act, commending their 100-day fasting protest in Anakapalli as praiseworthy. Lakshminarayana urged lawyers to continue their efforts to formulate laws that benefit the public, ensuring the protection and proper use of land rights.
