Jayaprada Ready to Campaign in AP If Invited by BJP's Purandeswari

Veteran actress and former MP Jayaprada visited Tirumala today. During the VIP break, she offered prayers at the temple and spoke to the media afterward.
Jayaprada stated that if invited by AP BJP President Purandeswari, she would campaign in the state. She expressed her readiness to undertake any responsibility assigned by the BJP high command with sincerity. Additionally, she prayed for special status for Andhra Pradesh and the realization of a prosperous Andhra Pradesh.
Jayaprada began her political journey with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) under the influence of N.T. Rama Rao. She later joined the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh and then moved to the Rashtriya Lok Dal. Since 2019, she has been a member of the BJP. Jayaprada has previously served as a member of both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha.
