Chandrababu Promises NDA's Victory in AP's 24 Lok Sabha Seats: An Interview with Arnab Goswami

In an exclusive interview with Arnab Goswami of Republic TV on the program "Desam Telusukovalanukuntundi," TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu expressed his unwavering confidence in the NDA's sweeping victory in the upcoming general elections in Andhra Pradesh. He asserted that the NDA, under the leadership of Narendra Modi, would once again take charge at the center and has set a target of winning 400 MP seats nationwide, including all 24 Lok Sabha seats from Andhra Pradesh.

During the interview, Naidu answered various questions, underscoring his commitment to contributing to national development rather than seeking ministerial positions. He critiqued the current administration under YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, describing it as oppressive and alleging that it has faltered in mental stability and leveraged welfare for political gains. He also accused it of resorting to harassment and destructive policies.

Naidu reflected on the public's response to Jagan's rule over the past five years, suggesting that the people had given him a chance but are now poised not to repeat the mistake due to dissatisfaction with his governance. He noted a comparison between his administration and Jagan’s, with the public increasingly leaning towards TDP.

Highlighting the historical collaboration between TDP and BJP, Naidu stressed their natural alliance over the past 40 years. He also pointed out the BJP's strengthening position in southern states, indicating a promising future for the BJP in Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing his previous arrest, Naidu maintained his innocence and held no grudge, stating that the truth of his actions was clear to him and the nation. He acknowledged widespread support during his arrest, indicating recognition of his character by people not only from the Telugu states but also globally.

Chandrababu Naidu concluded with a strong message of commitment to serving the cause of a great India, marking his dedication to furthering the nation's development beyond personal or regional interests.
