Modi's practice to criticize Muslims for votes: Asaduddin Owaisi

Hyderabad: Asaduddin Owaisi, the chief of AIMIM, has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of believing that criticizing Muslims is the best way to garner votes. Owaisi criticized Modi for allegedly following this practice since 2002, accusing him of using it as a guaranteed method to secure votes. In response to Modi's remarks, Owaisi posted a counterstatement on Twitter.

Owaisi criticized Modi for portraying Muslims as intruders and as a community with a large number of offspring. He accused the Congress of falsely alleging that if it came to power, it would seize people's assets and distribute them to Muslims. Owaisi reminded that if the topic of the nation's wealth was raised, Modi's wealthy friends are invariably mentioned, noting that while 1% hold 40% of the country's wealth, the rest is concentrated among Modi's affluent associates. He clarified that Modi's accusations involve strategies to win votes by instilling fear among Hindus, dismissing them as baseless.

Disrespecting the Prime Minister's Seat: Kharge

Mallikarjun Kharge, the Congress chief, criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's accusations against the Congress party made in Jalore, Rajasthan, as demeaning to the office of the Prime Minister. He expressed distress that such statements could come from someone holding such a responsible position, noting that no other Prime Minister has spoken so irresponsibly. Kharge described Modi's speech in Jalore as purely hateful, a deliberate attempt to divert public attention with false accusations. He highlighted that making such accusations is a specialty in the training of the Sangh and BJP, aiming to undermine the opposition with the ultimate goal of retaining power.
