TDP leader Raghurama Krishnam Raju has clarified his electoral intentions, announcing that he has been instructed by the TDP leadership to contest from the Undi Assembly constituency. He revealed plans to file his nomination on the 22nd of this month and to collect his party's B-form today (Saturday). These details were shared with the media in Pedamiram, West Godavari district. Raju stated his intention to work collaboratively with current MLA Ramaraju and former MLA Shivaramaraju of the Undi constituency.

Moreover, it was disclosed on Friday evening that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu had decided to grant the Undi Assembly ticket to Raju, who is currently serving as the MP for Narsapuram. There are speculations that Ramaraju, the sitting MLA from Undi, will be assigned the responsibilities of the TDP President for West Godavari district.
