Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Kick Off Election Nominations Day After Tomorrow

As the Lok Sabha elections approach, accompanied by assembly elections in several states, the political temperature across the country has begun to rise. The elections are scheduled to be conducted in seven phases, starting on April 19 and concluding on June 1. The first phase will see participation from 21 states and Union territories. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, along with ten other states, polling will occur in the fourth phase on May 13. The nomination process is set to begin day after tomorrow. Most major parties have nearly finalized their candidates. However, some candidates are likely to remain anxious until they receive their B-forms, which are crucial for their nominations.

April 25 - Deadline for filing nominations
April 26 - Scrutiny of nominations
April 29 - Last day for withdrawal of nominations
