Vijayasai Reddy Questions Motive Behind Attack on CM Jagan

On the 13th of this month, an attack involving a stone was carried out on CM Jagan in Vijayawada. This incident has sparked a war of words between the leaders of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Recently, YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy responded to the incident by questioning, "Who benefits if CM Jagan is harmed?" He suggested that in legal terminology, this is referred to as "motive," and posed the question of who would have such a motive. He implied that anyone would readily point to Chandrababu Naidu, whose hopes of victory are fading.

Vijayasai Reddy accused Chandrababu Naidu of harboring a vindictive and malicious intent towards Jagan, driven by concerns over his own son’s future. He stated that every time an assassination attempt on Jagan fails, Naidu and his affiliated media respond instantly. He further claimed that they are prepared with a narrative to suggest that Jagan orchestrated the attack himself for sympathy, which they then promptly release to the public.
