Nagababu Responds to Stone-Throwing Incident on CM Jagan

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was attacked with a stone on Saturday night in Vijayawada. Politicians across parties have been reacting to the incident. Jana Sena's Chief Secretary, Konidela Nagababu, commented on the attack, describing it as an undemocratic action. As the Chief Secretary of Jana Sena, he strongly condemned the attack. Nagababu stated that while criticism is acceptable in politics, physical attacks are reprehensible and legally criminal. He urged the police to severely punish the culprits involved in the attack and to ensure such undesirable incidents do not happen again. He expressed these thoughts at a platform named 'X'.

The incident occurred in Vijayawada on Saturday night while CM Jagan was part of the 'Memantha Siddham' bus tour, in preparation for the 2024 Assembly elections. The attack happened near Singh Nagar when an assailant threw a stone, slightly injuring the upper part of CM Jagan's left eye. Immediate medical attention was provided to him on the bus by his personal medical team, followed by further treatment at a government hospital in Vijayawada as per doctors' advice.
