Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy condemns TDP's response to attack on CM Jagan

Amaravati: Last night, a serious assault occurred in Sing Nagar, Vijayawada, involving Chief Minister Jagan, who was injured on the upper part of his left eye due to a stone attack. Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, an advisor to the state government, responded to the incident.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy suggested that the stone was likely propelled with great force, perhaps using a device like an air gun, given that throwing it by hand wouldn't have achieved such velocity. He expressed grave concern over the incident, stating, "Had the stone hit slightly to the side, it could have been fatal... and a slight miss lower could have cost him his eye."

Further, he refuted claims that this was a spontaneous act of hooliganism, instead labeling it a premeditated assassination attempt. He criticized the opposition TDP leaders, who he claimed were dismissing the incident as a drama and attributing it to a failure in security. He vehemently questioned their integrity, asking if they were merely feasting on the situation.

Amidst this turmoil, Sajjala accused the TDP of being disoriented by CM Jagan's ongoing 'We are all set' bus tour. He condemned their provocative rhetoric, suggesting that it was spurred by desperation. He mentioned a book by Daggubati Venkateswara Rao that supposedly details how N. Chandrababu Naidu incites disturbances.

Sajjala Ramakrishna also remarked on the lack of need for CM Jagan to garner sympathy through such incidents, recalling how Naidu had allegedly exploited a previous attack at Alipiri for sympathy, an act that people have not forgotten.
