A young man lauds Jagan during Sharmila's rally; Sharmila retorts

Kadapa: YS Sharmila, the President of AP PCC, is continuing her bus journey in Kadapa district. Today, an interesting event took place in Duvvuru. As Sharmila was speaking, some fans of Jagan started chanting slogans.

Sharmila called one of the youths chanting "Jai Jagan" to come forward and handed him the microphone, urging him to explain why people should vote for Jagan.

The young man, named Obul Reddy, quickly took the microphone and started praising Jagan, saying that Jagan has been constantly working for the people since the inception of his party, listening to their problems and promising to stand by them.

Obul Reddy claimed that Jagan fulfilled every promise he made, including a 3,000-kilometer foot march to ensure justice for the people, and credited him for bringing welfare to every family that came there, asserting that Jagan Mohan Reddy was the reason for it.

Sharmila, taking back the microphone, then gave a strong counter to the supporters of Jagan. "Did Jagan fulfill all his promises? I too have walked for Jagan in the past. I was the one who said to vote for Jagan, that he would bring Special Status by bending the BJP. Did he bring the Special Status?

She also mentioned promises made by Jagan Mohan Reddy, like the prohibition of alcohol, questioning their fulfillment. Instead of imposing a complete ban, the government, under Jagan Mohan Reddy, is selling liquor, with mandatory purchase of government-supplied brands at their prices. She criticized the government for neglecting the health issues arising from inferior quality liquor, leading to significant health crises among the populace.

Sharmila sarcastically remarked on Jagan Mohan Reddy's promises, saying they seem to be fulfilled only in liquor shops, whether it's about the capital city, special status, job notifications, or any other promise, questioning the rationale behind voting for him based on these unfulfilled promises.
