Arvind Kejriwal: Will end VIP culture in Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 10, 2015: AAP President Arvind Kejriwal, who has led his party to a tremendous victory in Delhi assembly elections, has said he will take oath as Chief Minister on Feb 14.
He said he will bring down the curtains on VIP culture that has been troubling the Delhi people.
Arvind Kejriwal quit as Chief Minister on Feb 14 last year after he failed to prove his majority in the House. Before he quit, some of his party MLAs defected to BJP and Congress leaving him in the lurch after forming Government despite lack of majority.
"I quit on Feb 14 last year. I will now take oath on the same date, Feb 14," he said.
Arvind Kejriwal thanked people for giving him and his party good majority in the elections. "It is your party and the victory is yours," he said, dedicating the victory to the people.
