Chandrababu too hikes salaries by 43 per cent

Hyderabad, Feb 10,2010:Taking a cue from Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekshara Rao who hiked the salaries of Government employees by 43 per cent bringing smiles on their faces, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu too hiked the salaries of AP Government employees by 43 per cent to keep them happy. The hiked salaries would be implemented with retrospective effect from June 2, 2014 the day when the residual state of AP came into existence officially. Notwithstanding the delicate financial condition of the state, Chandrababu Naidu took the decision Monday evening after the Cabinet sub committee finalised its report recommending a pay hike on par with the hike announced by KCR for Telangana employees. After the decision was announced, leaders of the Government employees' unions called on Chandrababu Naidu and thanked him.
