Kishan Reddy accuses KCR and family of involvement in phone tapping, demands BRS recognition revocation

Hyderabad: In a sensational statement regarding the phone tapping controversy, Union Minister and BJP Telangana State President Kishan Reddy accused KCR (Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao) and his family members of involvement. He alleged that private individuals' phones were tapped, and they were threatened and extorted for money. 

Speaking at a media conference in Hyderabad on Thursday, he revealed that police investigations had confirmed the tapping of prominent individuals' phones, posing a threat to national security. Kishan Reddy claimed that not only politicians but also industrialists, businessmen, and other prominent figures in society had their phones tapped, including those without political affiliations.

Kishan Reddy stated that the involvement of KCR and his family members in the phone tapping case is becoming evident, warning of serious consequences. He accused the practice of being used for political gains, alleging illegal tapping of opposition members' phones. According to Kishan Reddy, BRS leaders extensively extorted money through phone tapping.

He also mentioned that the phones of their candidates and leaders were tapped even during by-elections. In light of the phone tapping controversy, Kishan Reddy called for the revocation of BRS party's recognition and stated they would lodge a complaint with the Election Commission. He demanded legal actions against KCR, urging severe measures against the BRS leader.
