Relief in High Court for YS Sunitha and Her Husband in the Case Filed by Viveka's PA

In the case filed by Krishna Reddy, the Personal Assistant (PA) of the former minister Vivekananda Reddy, relief was granted by the High Court on Tuesday to Viveka's daughter Dr. Sunitha, her husband Narreddy Rajashekar Reddy, and CBI SP Ram Singh. The court issued interim orders to stay further actions for four weeks in this case.

Krishna Reddy, who previously worked as a PA for Vivekananda Reddy, filed a private complaint in the Pulivendula court in December 2021. He alleged that some individuals were threatening him in connection with the murder case of Vivekananda Reddy. He claimed that CBI SP Ram Singh was pressuring him to testify against certain Pulivendula leaders involved in the case. It was also alleged that Vivekananda Reddy's daughter Sunitha and her husband Narreddy Rajashekar Reddy were pressurized to testify in favor of the CBI. Following Krishna Reddy's complaint, the Pulivendula court conducted an inquiry on December 8, 2023, and ordered the police to register a case and submit a final report. In light of the cases filed against them, Sunitha, her husband, and SP Ram Singh sought refuge in the High Court.

During the recent hearing of these petitions, the High Court made several key remarks. It opined that the Pulivendula court magistrate had mechanically forwarded the private complaint of Viveka's PA to the police. The court highlighted the need for a thorough investigation into the matter. Justice K. Srinivas Reddy of the High Court postponed the next hearing to 29 and issued interim orders on Tuesday.
