Telangana Phone Tapping Case: Notices to be Issued to Several Key Figures Soon

The phone tapping incident in Telangana, which has become a sensation, has taken a significant turn. Notices are expected to be served to candidates who contested in the previous elections and the winning MLAs.

The investigation into the phone tapping case has also brought to light a hawala angle. It's reported that the police identified several public representatives and hawala traders being monitored based on information from a group led by Praneeth Rao. During the investigation, the suspects acknowledged these activities. Based on the information provided by Praneeth Rao, the police have recently identified that some officers had seized money being distributed at the field level. Furthermore, it has been revealed that another officer played a crucial role in distributing money to candidates of a major party.

The police have identified that funds were being distributed across the state in a well-organized manner using police vehicles. On another note, a businessman came to the Banjara Hills police station on Sunday, claiming that he was threatened by someone who had tapped his phone. The current suspect in the case allegedly showed the businessman his phone voice recording and threatened him.
