Young Girl from NTR District Killed in US Road Accident on Her Birthday

In a tragic road accident that occurred in the early hours of yesterday in America, a six-year-old girl from Konakanchi in the Penuganchiprolu Mandal of NTR district lost her life. The girl, Hanika, belonged to a family native to the village. Her parents, Kamatham Naresh and Geetanjali, have been living in America for the past ten years, working as software engineers. The couple has a son and a daughter. To celebrate Hanika's (6) birthday, the family set out in their car to visit a temple.

During their journey, their car met with an accident in the Portland area, resulting in the immediate death of Hanika at the scene. Geetanjali sustained severe injuries and has been reported to be in a coma, with her condition described as critical. The news of the incident has cast a shadow of mourning over their native village of Konakanchi.
