YS Sharmila announces 9 Guarantees of the Congress Party in AP

Amaravati: AP PCC Chief YS Sharmila kick started the party's electoral campaign in AP, urging its cadres to go door to door to expose the deceptions of the YCP and TDP parties, and explain their shortcomings to every citizen. On this occasion, she announced 9 guarantees.
The 9 guarantees are as follows:
- Special status for AP for ten years... Immediate implementation of the status as soon as the Congress Party comes into power
- Varalakshmi scheme for women, providing ₹8,500 per month to every poor woman
- Loan waiver up to ₹2 lakhs for farmers
- A new support price for farmers with 50% profit on investment
- A minimum wage of ₹400 for MNREGA workers
- Free education from KG to PG across the state
- Filling of 2.25 lakh jobs if Congress comes to power
- A solid house worth ₹5 lakhs for every poor woman
- A pension of ₹4,000 for every eligible individual... pension for all eligible members in a household.
Sharmila criticized that despite BJP not benefiting the state, YCP and TDP have become subservient to Prime Minister Modi. She accused the two AP parties of acting as stooges to the BJP, stating that both Chandrababu Naidu and Jagan Mohan Reddy are no different; one has an open alliance with the BJP, while the other has a secret pact. She reminded that Chandrababu Naidu, who had allied with the BJP in 2014 and later parted ways, has now rejoined them. Sharmila also mentioned that Nirmala Sitharaman has described Jagan as Modi's adoptive son.
