Amaravati: In connection with the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh, BJP State Chief Purandeswari made interesting comments. She stated that both old and new members are part of the BJP and expressed hope that the party would secure more seats in the state. She mentioned that the party is expecting to secure an 11th MLA seat, the decision for which will be made soon. Purandeswari highlighted that their focus is on how BJP, along with Jana Sena and TDP, can move forward together.

Speaking about former BJP AP President Somu Veerraju, Purandeswari made intriguing remarks, stating that the party's High Command would decide on Veerraju's future. She defended the allocation of tickets to newcomers in the party, stating that tickets were distributed based on political and social circumstances rather than sidelining anyone intentionally.

She emphasized that all decisions made by the party's High Command are respected by BJP leaders and workers. It is known that BJP has already secured 10 MLA and 6 MP seats as part of the alliance, and the party is now aiming for another MLC seat.
