Court Grants Special Privileges to BRS MLC Kavitha in Tihar Jail

The Rouse Avenue Court has granted certain concessions to BRS MLC Kavitha, who is currently detained in Tihar Jail in connection with a liquor case in Delhi. The court issued these concessions in response to Kavitha's request. As per the court's orders, the superintendent of Tihar Jail has been directed to allow these privileges. Kavitha has been granted permission to receive home-cooked food.
Additionally, the court has permitted her to arrange for her own bedding, including a bed, mattress, footwear, clothes, blankets, and books, for her stay in jail. It is also noted that Kavitha has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody by the court today.
