AP Politics Heats Up with Jagan and Chandrababu’s Campaign Kickoff

The political heat is steadily rising in Andhra Pradesh (AP). Against the backdrop of the election schedule release, AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief Chandrababu Naidu are set to commence their campaign activities on the same day, with March 27th marked as the auspicious beginning. Both leaders will start their campaigns from their respective constituencies in the Rayalaseema region.

With the elections approaching, both the ruling and opposition parties have almost finalized their candidate selections. Consequently, the focus of the main parties has shifted towards campaigning. From tomorrow, CM Jagan and Chandrababu will launch extensive electoral campaigns. The simultaneous start of campaigns by both key leaders has heightened the political fervor in the state.


CM Jagan, already engaging with the public through his 'Siddham' (Ready for the Journey) initiative, will commence his campaign from Kadapa district’s Idupulapaya, continuing to North Andhra. On the 27th, Jagan will pay tributes at the YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya before kickstarting his campaign. That evening, he will participate in a large public meeting in Proddatur. 

On the 28th, he will have a face-to-face interaction with the people in Nandyal or Allagadda and address a public meeting in Nandyal in the evening. The campaign will enter the Kurnool parliamentary constituency on the 29th, where CM Jagan will attend a public meeting in Emmiganur in the evening.


Chandrababu's campaign will run from March 27 to March 31, planning to hold meetings in 3 to 4 constituencies each day. On the 27th, Babu will campaign in Palamaneru, Nagari, and Nellore Rural constituencies. On the 29th, he will visit Raptadu, Singanamala, Kadiri.., and on the same day, Srisailam, Nandikotkur, Kurnool.. 

On the 30th, Chandrababu will campaign in Mydukur, Proddatur, Sullurpeta, and Srikalahasti. On the 31st, he will tour Kavali, Markapuram, Santanutalapadu, and Ongole. Chandrababu will spend today and tomorrow campaigning in his own constituency.
