TV 9 news presenter Badri dies in road accident
Dwaraka Tirumala, Feb 8, 2015: We are sorry to inform that TV 9 channel's news presenter Badri, 39, died in a road accident this morning.
The accident occurred in the wee hours of Sunday when one of the tires of his speeding car got burst and the car dashed against a tree under the impact on the main road near Dwaraka Tirumala.
Badri, whose original name is K.Veerabhadraiah, was returning to his native village Avupadu in Nallajerla Mandalam of West Godavari district after attending a marriage last night at the famous Venkateswara Swamy temple at Dwaraka Tirumala.
While Badri died on the spot, his wife , two sons and his brother were seriously injured in the accident. They were immediately taken to a private hospital at Eluru. Their condition is said to be serious.
Reports said Badri was driving the vehicle himself when the accident took place at Lakshmi Nagar near Dwaraka Tirumala.
Badri had carved a niche for himself in TV journalism and brought good name to the channel through his excellent skills in news presentation and debating. The journalistic community has always liked his news presentation skills.
In his journalistic career, he covered several important events from across united AP and India.
Badri remained with TV 9 since its inception and grew himself in his career along with the channel.
Several politicians and journalists have expressed their shock at the death of Badri in the accident and conveyed their profound condolences to the bereaved family members.
