BRS Leader Vinod Kumar Confirms Majority for CM Revanth Reddy, Calls for Government Stability

Karimnagar BRS Lok Sabha candidate, Boyinapalli Vinod Kumar, affirmed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy holds a majority and clearly stated their intention not to topple the government. Speaking to the media on Monday, he mentioned that Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender could not escape disqualification. Nagender, who won the last assembly elections from BRS, joined the Congress party in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy yesterday. Vinod Kumar called for a quick decision by Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar on Nagender's disqualification, emphasizing that defections should not be encouraged. He remarked that all BRS MLAs are activists at heart.

Despite their clear stance on not aiming to overthrow CM Revanth Reddy's government, Kumar criticized those who speculated otherwise. He recalled Revanth Reddy's past statements against party switching and suggested that those who defect should face severe consequences. "Mr. Revanth Reddy, you have a good majority. Govern for five years. Ensure that your party members do not leave," he advised. He highlighted the public's distress in the absence of the KCR government and questioned the ethics of welcoming MLAs and MPs from other parties when BRS itself had incorporated them.

Vinod Kumar also responded to a recent incident where money was found at Pratima Multiplex, clarifying that those responsible for the funds would account for them. He challenged the baseless allegations against him, questioning if familial relations warranted such accusations.
