"We've Been Waiting for This Day for Five Years": Chandrababu

In light of the election schedule for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly announced today by the Election Commission of India, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu responded via social media. He stated that the day the five crore people of the state have been waiting for over five years has finally arrived. "The election schedule is out... The countdown for Jagan has started... Now, only polling remains," he tweeted. 

Chandrababu explained that it's now time for the people to freely and fearlessly voice their opinion, giving "one chance" to the government and "no chance" at another term. He welcomed everyone to take the first step towards a new dawn and assured that only good days are ahead for the state. The Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled for May 13, with the counting to take place on June 4.
