In the Delhi liquor scam case, it is known that Kavita was brought before the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi by ED officials. Currently, lawyers from both sides are presenting their arguments in the court. Representing Kavita, lawyer Vikram Choudary argued that Kavita had received injections until 3 AM and that her blood pressure was unusually high, something that had never happened before. He also mentioned that the doctors did not provide them with her medical reports. With the court's permission, Vikram Choudary briefly spoke with Kavita before presenting his arguments.

It was stated that the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear Kavita's petition on the 19th of this month. Vikram Choudary requested that Kavita be granted exemption until then and that the current hearing be postponed until the Supreme Court's decision. He accused the ED officials of violating the Supreme Court's orders. After Vikram Choudary finished his arguments, ED's lawyer Joyab Hussain began his arguments, stating that summons were issued in accordance with Section 50 and that no court had ordered severe actions not to be taken. On the other hand, Kavita's husband was also present in the court hall.
