Hyderabad: Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy remarked on the ironic situation where leaders, who questioned the need for protests in Telangana over Chandrababu Naidu's arrest in Andhra Pradesh, are now calling for demonstrations over Kavita's arrest. "The Enforcement Directorate made the arrest, and Delhi officials took her away. What's the point of BRS party leaders protesting in Hyderabad?" questioned the Minister. He suggested that BRS leaders should protest in front of the ED office in Delhi instead.

Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy also questioned the relevance of the Delhi liquor scam to the people of Telangana and criticized BRS leaders for causing inconvenience to the public by protesting in the state over Kavita's arrest in the scam.

He mocked the BRS leaders for their earlier aggressive stance of challenging opponents to confront them and now dragging innocent party workers onto the streets to protest.
