Rs 6.65 Crore Seized in Raid at Former MP Vinod Kumar's Hotel in Karimnagar

Karimnagar: Police conducted raids at a hotel owned by the family of BRS senior leader and former MP Boinapalli Vinod Kumar in Karimnagar. The operation, which began late on Friday night and continued until Saturday morning at the Pratima Multiplex in the heart of Karimnagar district, uncovered a large sum of cash. The raids have become a sensation against the backdrop of the Lok Sabha election frenzy, with officials revealing that cash bundles worth Rs 6.65 crores were discovered during the searches. The police, who seized this cash, announced plans to produce it in court, and are currently investigating the ownership of the money.

The raids were reportedly based on prior information suggesting large sums of money were being moved through the hotel. The discovery of such a substantial amount of cash during the election period has become a topic of local discussion. There are suspicions that this money was intended to be distributed to voters in the context of the Lok Sabha elections. 

Local leaders suggest that all the election-related activities of the BRS party are currently being coordinated from this hotel, which is noteworthy as it belongs to the family of BRS party leader and former MP Vinod Kumar.
