Illegal constructions: Gokaraju served notice

Vijayawada, Feb 7: The Tadepalli and Mangalagiri mandal revenue officials served notice to BJP parliamentarian Gokaraju Gamgaraju the illegally constructing structures on the right flood bank of River Krishna. In all, the officials have identified 55 acres of land where illegal structures were constructed. Following which, they served notices to 21 persons including Gokaraju Gangaraju, his brother and also the owners of the Laila properties Ltd, sources said. The officials had also served notices to the BJP office, for which a ground breaking ceremony was held recently, also, sources confirmed. Recently, mandal officials had prepared and handed over a list of the illegal structures to the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) for necessary action.
