The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has announced the arrest of BRS MLC Kavitha under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in connection with the Delhi liquor scam. ED officials interrogated her for nearly five hours from this afternoon and took her into custody in the evening.
The arrest related to the Delhi liquor scam was officially declared by the ED, stating that Kavitha was taken into custody at 5:20 PM. The ED has also informed Kavitha's husband, Anil Kumar, about the arrest and provided him with a 14-page document detailing the arrest information.

The information was conveyed to Kavitha's husband by the Assistant Director Jogender, as per ED's statement. It was mentioned that Kavitha was arrested at her residence in Banjara Hills. It is noted that Kavitha is being transported from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to Delhi, with a possibility of further interrogation at the ED office in Delhi tonight.
