Amaravati: Janas Sena chief Pawan Kalyan announced his participation in the upcoming elections from the Pithapuram Assembly constituency. In light of this, the YSRCP leadership is focusing special attention on Pithapuram. In the previous elections, Pawan Kalyan contested from the Gajuwaka and Bhimavaram constituencies, where he was defeated by YSRCP candidates in both places.
YSRCP strategists are planning to replicate their past success by defeating Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram as well. This time, MP Vanga Geetha is being fielded in the Pithapuram Assembly constituency. Subsequently, CM Jagan has delegated the responsibility of securing victory in Pithapuram to MP Mithun Reddy.
YSRCP plans to intensify their campaign in Pithapuram with the participation of key party leaders. CM Jagan is also expected to campaign in the constituency.
With the joining of Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham into YSRCP, the party leadership believes that the social equations will also work in their favor. Vanga Geetha has already started campaigning.
