VV Laxminarayana Insists Chandrababu on Written Guarantees from Amit Shah for Andhra Pradesh's Key Concerns

During the backdrop of TDP Chief Chandrababu's visit to Delhi, Jai Bharat National Party President V.V. Laxminarayana has intriguingly responded, suggesting that before finalizing an alliance with the BJP, Chandrababu should secure a written assurance from Amit Shah on certain matters.
Laxminarayana emphasized that the assurance should cover the granting of special status to Andhra Pradesh, implementation of promises made in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act of 2014, withdrawal of the privatization of the Visakhapatnam steel plant, and a rational justification for the allocation of a separate railway zone for Visakhapatnam, keeping in view the state's interests.
