KTR vs. Revanth: Komatireddy Throws Counter-Challenge

Hyderabad: BRS Working President and former minister KTR challenged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, proposing that both resign from their current positions and contest in the upcoming Parliamentary elections from Malkajgiri.

Responding to this challenge, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Friday threw a counter-challenge at KTR, urging him to resign from his MLA position in Siricilla and suggesting they both contest from the same constituency. Komatireddy expressed confidence in defeating KTR in Siricilla and stated that if he were to lose, he would retire from politics, questioning whether KTR would dare to say the same if he lost.

In a media interaction, Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy discussed the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, stating that their main competitor is the BJP, not the BRS. They mentioned their request for Rahul Gandhi to contest from Telangana, promising a victory with a margin of over 400,000 votes.

They also refuted BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind's claims regarding the allocation of Rythu Bandhu funds, asserting there was no truth in his allegations. They highlighted their political sacrifices, claiming to have lost assets since entering politics.
