Mudragada Padmanabham expresses disappointment in Pawan Kalyan for missed opportunities

Amaravati: Mudragada Padmanabham, a prominent leader of the Kapu community, has written a letter to Pawan Kalyan, the head of the Jana Sena Party. In the letter, Padmanabham expressed a strong desire for their collaboration, emphasizing that the entire Kapu community eagerly wishes for their union. He mentioned that, setting aside his past experiences, humiliations, ideals, and desires, he is ready to join forces with Pawan Kalyan to bring about a new political era in Andhra Pradesh, believing that Kalyan shares the same vision. However, he regretted that Pawan Kalyan missed the opportunity to do so.

Padmanabham criticized how, during Chandrababu Naidu's imprisonment, the TDP cadre was too scared to come out, almost confining themselves to their homes, and highlighted that visiting them in jail to offer support would have been an extraordinary gesture. He praised Pawan Kalyan of contributing to Chandrababu Naidu's growing influenc.

He also lamented Kalyan's lack of effort to achieve power sharing, suggesting that striving for 80 assembly seats and a two-year chief ministerial term would have been a bold move. Padmanabham reflected on his 40-year political career, claiming he never sought money or favoritism from senior leaders, and prayed to God to avoid such a situation.

Padmanabham voiced his frustration about being perceived as a lesser individual by Pawan Kalyan due to his lack of glamour and popularity among the people. He expressed sorrow that despite his willingness to meet, Kalyan never approached him. Padmanabham concluded by stating that Pawan Kalyan's decisions are not entirely in his hands, as he often needs permissions from others, and expressed his hope that God spares him the need to be involved with the 24 individuals Kalyan's party plans to contest in the elections.
