CM Jagan releases funds for Rythu Bharosa scheme

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has transferred funds directly into the accounts of farmers as part of the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme. Today, CM Jagan released Rythu Bharosa funds amounting to Rs. 1,078 crores, stating that everyone benefits when the farmer is doing well.

He disclosed that over the past 57 months, a total of Rs. 34,288 crores has been provided to farmers under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. CM Jagan explained that 53.58 lakh beneficiaries are currently benefiting from this scheme, emphasizing that his government is committed to the welfare of farmers.

He noted that in Andhra Pradesh, 70% of farmers own less than one hectare of land, and 50% own less than half a hectare. The financial assistance provided to such small and marginal farmers has been significantly beneficial.

Furthermore, CM Jagan announced the release of zero-interest loan subsidy funds to eligible farmers. Today, an amount of Rs. 215.98 crores has been disbursed under the zero-interest loan subsidy to 10.79 lakh farmers.
