India Continues Winning Streak in U-19 World Cup: Secures Semi-final Berth with Victory Over Nepal

India's momentum in the Under-19 World Cup remains unbroken, as they continue to dominate in the tournament currently underway in South Africa. Advancing through the Super Six stage, the Indian team has maintained its winning streak, most recently achieving a significant victory over Nepal in Bloemfontein, ensuring their place in the semi-finals.

In the match, India, winning the toss and opting to bat first, set a formidable target by scoring 297 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Sachin Das and Captain Uday Saharan shone with centuries, scoring 116 and 100 runs respectively.

Faced with a daunting target of 298, the Nepalese team managed to score only 165 runs for 9 wickets in their 50 overs, succumbing to India's bowling prowess. Captain Dev Khanal was the top scorer for Nepal with 33 runs, while Durgesh Gupta (29 not out) and Aakash Chand (19) made some late efforts to avoid a complete rout.
