Pawan Kalyan triggers fresh bifurcation row

Rajam (Srikakulam District), Jan 27: Actor and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan triggered a fresh controversy here today by saying that because of a generation's mistake Telugu people got two states. He attended a meeting in Rajam of Srikakulam district along with Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu. His statement raised eyebrows among political circles in Andhra Pradesh as it came months after AP state was divided into two. According to political circles, Pawan Kalyan is perhaps trying to cozy up to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) indicating a possible merger of his party with the saffron party. If that happens, political circles say, there will not be any difference between him and his brother Chiranjeevi.
