Cop accidentally shot a woman in the head while cleaning a pistol.. Here is the video

A woman was put in grave danger due to the negligence of a police officer when a gun accidentally discharged while being cleaned by a Sub-Inspector (SI), causing the bullet to strike the woman in the head. The incident occurred at a police station in Aligarh district, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. According to details provided by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Aligarh, the woman, named Ishrat, had visited the police station along with her son for passport verification-related work. While at the station, another police officer handed a firearm to SI Manoj Kumar, who was then cleaning the gun when it accidentally went off, with the bullet hitting Ishrat in the head, causing her to collapse on the spot.

The woman was immediately transported to the local Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College for treatment. Medical professionals have stated that her condition is critical. They also mentioned that the bullet is still lodged in her head, and discussions are ongoing regarding surgery. The SSP announced that the bullet struck the back of the woman's head, and the responsible SI has been suspended immediately. Efforts are underway to apprehend the SI, who is currently absconding, with assurances that strict actions will be taken against him.
